Human Design
Human Design is a relatively new system of understanding human behavior and potential that combines elements of astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah, and the Chakra system. It was created by a man named Ra Uru Hu in the 1980s, and it has gained popularity in recent years as a tool for self-discovery and personal growth.
At its core, Human Design is based on the idea that each person has a unique blueprint, or design, that determines their strengths, weaknesses, and life purpose. This design is determined by the exact time, date, and location of a person's birth, and it is represented by a chart that looks like a mandala.
The chart is made up of nine centers, each of which corresponds to a different aspect of human experience, such as intuition, emotions, communication, and identity. Each center can be either open or defined, which means that a person either has access to that center's energy or not. The way that the centers are defined or open in a person's chart can reveal a lot about their personality, strengths, and challenges.
In addition to the centers, the Human Design chart also includes lines and numbers that correspond to the hexagrams of the I Ching. These lines and numbers provide further insight into a person's character and potential.
One of the key principles of Human Design is the idea of "living your design." This means that when you understand your unique design, you can make choices and decisions that align with it, which can lead to greater fulfillment and success in life. For example, if you have an open emotional center, you may be prone to taking on other people's emotions and feeling overwhelmed by them. By understanding this aspect of your design, you can learn to manage your emotions more effectively and avoid taking on other people's emotional baggage.
There are five different types in Human Design: Manifestor, Generator, Projector, Reflector, and Manifesting Generator. Each type has its own unique strategy and authority, which are tools for making decisions and taking action that are aligned with a person's true nature and purpose.
Manifestors are here to initiate and get things started. Their strategy is to inform others before taking action, and their authority is to listen to their inner knowing and act on it.
Generators are here to create and build. Their strategy is to respond to what feels good and right in the moment, and their authority is to listen to their gut response.
Projectors are here to guide and direct. Their strategy is to wait for an invitation or recognition from others, and their authority is to listen to their intuition and wait for clarity.
Reflectors are here to mirror and reflect. Their strategy is to wait a lunar cycle before making big decisions, and their authority is to listen to their intuition and wait for clarity.
Manifesting Generators are a combination of Manifestors and Generators. Their strategy is to respond to what feels good and right in the moment and inform others before taking action. Their authority is to listen to their gut response and wait for clarity.
Understanding your type, strategy, and authority can help you make decisions and take action that is aligned with your true nature and purpose.
Overall, Human Design is a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth. By understanding your unique design, you can gain insight into your strengths, challenges, and life purpose, and make choices that align with your true nature.
